Zane + Hailey

Funny story- so Hailey’s best friend had found me on facebook some time ago and connected the two of us and I ended up documented her father’s 70th birthday party surrounded by all his loved ones! Before the night was over, her best friend Kelly snuck me aside and introduced me to Hailey’s long time and long distance boyfriend, Zane. These two were scheming up to trick Hailey in a few months in order for Zane to sneak into town and ask Hailey to marry him! My giddy self could not handle the excitement.

We immediately began planning to trick the hardest woman in the world to trick. Hailey is the ultimate planner so we had to sneakily work around everything she was planning in order to really throw her off. Zane told me a story about one of their first dates where Hailey had made a joking comment that if Zane were to ever propose one day, that she’d say yes if he asked her to be his wife with a ring pop. Zane looked EVERYWHERE for them and somehow ended up with an entire bag.

Zane managed to come up with a fool proof plan and have Hailey’s parents take her to dinner at Coastal Fish Company on her favorite Holiday St. Patrick’s day. As Hailey’s parents drove into the Valet, Zane was there to greet her to her ultimate surprise, leading her over to a secluded area to ask her to be his wife! All the secrets came out as they embraced after being apart for so long. Soon after, both Zane + Hailey’s families came out of the restaurant where they embraced and had a celebratory dinner together.
